On June 23, Lee Joon-Ho, director of mechanical design office from the Display Business Department,
was awarded the 'Minister commendation for small and medium venture business'
at the '2021 Gyeonggi small and medium business conference' held in Paldal-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do.

Marking 32nd anniversary this year, it is the largest event in the small and medium-sized business community
to reward and encourage the hard work of business who have contributed to national economic development and job creation.
He was honored with the award for his contribution to the development of core national projects
through fostering small and medium enterprises.

Director Lee joined Philoptics in 2008 and strived for about 13 years to develop technologies of South Korea's display industry.
He contributed to cost reduction and competitiveness by improving the design process
and obtaining patents through continuous R&D activities.
He also taking the lead in labor-management harmony by holding a meeting once a month,
and focusing on creating a smooth working environment by promoting job training.
Director Lee developed South Korea's first standardized equipment
that cuts the flexible display ledger of 6G Half Size(1500*925) on a cell-by-cell basis and has been with Philoptics's growth.
He played a major role in gaining competitiveness in the domestic display industry
by supplying and mass-producing major panel manufacturers in Korea.
The award is more meaningful in that in has been recognized internally
and externally for efforts and achievements of executives and staffs.
Philoptics is taking the lead in localizing display equipment by developing core technologies for manufacturing flexible displays.
It said it will continue to fulfill its responsibilities
and roles so that it can contribute to the development of the national economy as well as enhancement of corporate status.
